Admission policy

At glance

Kaole Wazazi College of Agriculture serves the educational needs of the Tanzanian community. We welcome applicants of all races, religions and cultures; we accept applications in the beginning of each academic year, and in some cases throughout the year based on space availability to specific courses.

Joining our college

Students to join should have the following qualifications: -

  • Certificate in Agriculture Production
    Candidates should have attained certificate of secondary school education with at least four passes out of which two passes must be of science subject (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and agriculture). Also, candidates who have attained entry level three in Agriculture and Livestock training from recognized Vocational Training Centre (VETA).

  • Certificate in Animal Health and Production
    Candidates should have attained certificate of secondary school education with at least four passes out of which two passes must be of science subject (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and agriculture). Also, candidates who have attained entry level three in Agriculture and Livestock training from recognized Vocational Training Centre (VETA).

  • Diploma in Agriculture Production
    Candidates should have passed a certificate course in General Agriculture (CGA NTA Level 5) from any Agriculture Training Institute recognized and registered by NACTE. A candidate should have passed at least four passes out of which two passes must be of science subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology Geography and Agriculture). Form Six leavers should have one Principal pass and one subscidiary pass in Science subjects. It is a two year Diploma course for Form six leavers.

  • Diploma in Animal Health and Production
    Candidates should have passed a certificate course in Animal Health and Production (AHPC NTA Level 5) from any Livestock Training Institute recognized and registered by NACTE. A candidate should have passed at least four passes out of which two passes must be of science subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology Geography and Agriculture). Form Six leavers should have one Principal pass and one subsciary pass in Science subjects. It is a three year Diploma course for Form six leavers.

College clothing

To maintain college integrity and credibility, all students must keep decency for character and attitude to work assessment. Students are required at all times during normal hours of study and at practical hours to be in accepted decent clothes. Wearing of Mini and micro skirts or clothes which do not cover fully the groins and the abdomen or transparent clothes is prohibited. Also, wearing of sandals and/or gum boots in the Canteen/Cafeteria/Dining hall/Lecture Hall is undesirable.

Medical examination

All students will therefore be required to submit a satisfactory Medical Examination report from a recognized Health Facility dully filled, signed and stamped by a qualified Licensed or registered Medical Practitioner. Students are advised to bring their own Health Insurance cards.

Discipline

Every student is expected to be exemplary in the society, that is good behaviour and maintain self-respect in accordance with the rules and regulations of the institute. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain self-discipline and respect of others. You will be provided with a copy of institute rules and regulations, which each student should abide to.
